Tonto Del Rio

Tonto Del Rio

Tonto Del Rio came into our rescue program on April 06, 2013. Tonto Del Rio came from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office along with 62 other horses and 3 Llama's as a severe cruelty case. Seminole County investigated an animal cruelty case consisting of over 120 animals, where several carcasses were found. Sadly, for many horses, help came too late. We were able to assist Seminole County and save 63 horses and 3 Llama's from neglect. Tonto Del Rio is a Beautiful, Black/White, Icelandic, Gelding. Tonto Del Rio is estimated to be 6 years of age. Tonto Del Rio is a body score of a 4. He is infested with internal/external parasites, has rain rot and is mildly anemic. He is super sweet and very smart. He loves attention but can be a bit aloof. He loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Tonto Del Rio will be coming available for adoption soon. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Tonto Del Rio's Rehabilitation.

Tonto Del Rio has been adopted to a wonderful family in Gore, Oklahoma. Tonto Del Rio along with Pip, will be extremely spoiled rotten and well loved in their forever, loving home. We are thrilled that these two sweeties will receive the love, attention and time they deserve with their forever, loving family.
